made a LOOOOONG (those who dunno. i take at least an hr to reach SAJC) trip back to school to watch the Orientation Finale 2007!! it was nice having to see most of the councillors who were there again. but CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?
EXACTLY ONE YEAR AGO.. we were down there wearing our black "councillor" tshirt holding A4 plastic files filled with attendance sheets, scissors, STREPSILS, and orientation booklets, screaming at the top of our voices in the CC asking the new J1s to settle down quickly so that finale can proceed promptly. we were there on the stage doing/leading school cheers. we were down there cheering at the top of our lungs for our own kingdoms. and we were the ones standing on the steps of the hall during their disco night making sure nobody gets on those steps and overlooking the whole hall to make sure nobody gets hurt while having fun, while we were crazily dancing away tgt on the steps. HAHAH. GOSH. that was ONE YEAR AGO! whats more? read on.
EXACTLY TWO YEARS AGO.. we were there with our own respective OGs at the gallery of SAJC at MALAN ROAD for the finale performances and all. and the disco night was on the track!and there was CAMPFIRE then!! but i clearly rmb. the very next day i was down with VERY high fever like 39.8deg? nearly needed to go hospital and i completely lost my voice. i can't even make a sound. blame it on the station games but well i had tonns of fun then. and i still went marina got OG BBQ that very night after i went to see the doc. OMG kill me la! hahahah. but those were the days man. really.
so you see. orientation finale means alot to the councillors i'm sure. i'm rather upset that they changed the 5colours of SAINT and they changed the allocation of the colours! i wanted to cheer for yellow cuz i was part of yellow for Orientation 2005 & OGL under yellow for 2006. but back then yellow was the representative colour of the letter I. this year it isn't. so yarh dunno what to cheer for. in the end didn't support any. hahah!
and when the MCs said "councillors pls come on stage now" there was this urge in all of us to like go up the stage. HAHAH. but it was rather shiok to cheer again. I MISS CHEERING AHHH! anyway, next up was disco night in the hall, which has aircon now. wth after we left. grrr. but i must say this year the songs played weren't very high. didn't really heat up the atmosphere but some songs were. and the best part was. the J1s like to play this thing where they run around in chains holding the shoulders of the person in front of them. it was FORBIDDEN in orientation disco nights all along but well. i guess as long as nobody gets hurt.
whats more was that WE JOINED IN la! weaving thru chaotic J1s and all. gosh. i'm sure they must be wondering who this group of pple in home clothes running madly around are. and we're actually doing what we weren't allowed to do. rebels now. but it was damn fun la! HAHAH. and the songs started to get non-high but somehow we kept ourselves high. darn funny. HIGHEST PART OF THE NIGHT: DANCING CHORICHORI. AHHHH! shucks how i missed it! but got to dance it again was woohoo! hahah.
yes thats abt all for the orientation finale 2007. met jingxiu for dinner after that. i was VERY LATE. but poor girl missed all the fun for work ): anyway, guess i made it up somehow! superb company what right jingxiu. HAHAH.
